Pianist
Hiroko Seta was born in a doctor’s family that loved music. She won prolonged applause and was dubbed the title of “Child Prodigy” after successfully interpreting Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra at the age of thirteen.
Hiroko Seta had her first China tour in 1985. Since 1987, she held series of concerts in collaboration with her partner, Chinese violinist Sheng Zhongguo. In 1996, in collaboration with the Australian Youth Orchestra, she performed Chinese Classic “The Yellow River”.
